Tetradrachm from Syracuse in Sicily (ca. 405-400 BC)

Syracuse in Sicily, tetradrachm dated ca. 405-400 BC, struck during the time of Dionysios I. Fine to Very Fine condition. Galloping quadriga left, charioteer dressed in kentron. Nike flying to right above / Head of Arethusa to left, wearing sakkos ornamented with stars, triple pendant earring, and necklace, ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ and four dolphins around.
