Norway, penny 1280–1299

Norway, penny (“Nigri Coronati”), dated 1280–1299. Fine condition, with traces of corrosion. A good representative example of the type. Allegedly exported from Norway to Sweden, with an export license issued by the Norwegian authorities in 2023. The coin originates from the Alstad find (Toten parish), excavated in 1820. Schive IX:42; NM 2. 0.57 g.
