Russia, Order of St Stanislaus. Breast star dated to 1899-1903. Silver and enamel. Excellent condition. Reverse bears the double-headed eagle hallmark of court suppliers (used from 1840 to 1917), the maker’s mark “Keibel”, and the St. Petersburg kokoshnik silver hallmark for 84 zolotnik (used from 1899 to 1908). Also marked with assayer’s mark “ЯЛ” for Yakov Lyapunov, assayer in St. Petersburg from 1899 to 1903. BWK4 766. II; Barac 766; Durov 2; Romanov 37. 91,9 × 89,6 mm; 55,25 g.
