Norway, brakteat featuring a Latin cross with pellet ornamentation, dated 1177-1202, struck under King Sverre Sigurdsson. Extremely Fine condition. A rare, well‑preserved and complete Norwegian medieval brakteat. Most of the Sverre Sigurdsson brakteats are from the Dæli find excavated in 1840, once sold by the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History in the second half of the 19th Century.
