Norway, penny dated 1066-1093, struck under King Olav Kyrre. Extremely Fine condition.  Most of the Olav Kyrre pennies available on the market today are doublets from the Græslid (Thydalen) find in 1878, sold by the Historical Museum in Oslo in the 1890’s. We will apply for export licence if this coin is sold to a customer outside Norway, and it is likely that an export licence will be granted since most of these coins were sold by Norwegian authorities themselves in the 1890’s.
