Russia, medallic roubel dated 1759, struck under Empress Elizabeth, to commemorate the victory over the Prussians at Kunersdorf. Later cast. Dies by T. Ivanov. Very Fine condition. Crowned bust of Elisabeth to r. Signature of the medallist below / Antique warrior holding spear and flag standing to r. on battlefield. Bodies, arms and flag with FR (Fridericus Rex) on ground. The original medal was awarded to Russian soldiers who partook in the Battle of Kunersdorf.
